Although often confused as a "LinerLock on the back of the handle, the Compression Lock is actually totally different. It works opposite to a LinerLock. This patented mechanism is also considerably stronger than most LinerLocks and the location of this lock makes the knife safe to close with one hand without putting your fingers in the way of the cutting edge. The handle consists of solid and lightweight Micarta. This material gives the knife a robust look, a pleasant texture and that ensures excellent grip in even the toughest conditions.
